As Promised....

Photos!

Happy 8 month birthday my big, wiggly, happy, rolling, almost-crawling, smiley boy!

And, Monster's first Thanksgiving:

Whew! How did life get this busy?

I haven't posted in a while - sorry to any of my readers that actually read my posts!

We had a great Thanksgiving - Monster enjoyed his first Thanksgiving meal and was able to eat all the same stuff as we did, since he is eating table food. He had soooo much fun with all the choices.. I'll try to add pics or a video later!

Monster also turned 8 months old on the 1st of December, pictures coming later. He is this close to crawling! He gets up on all 4s and rocks back and forth. Its so cute to watch, but scary at the same time because I don't think I'm ready for a mobile baby yet, haha!
It also looks like his first tooth is going to make an appearance sometime this coming week. I can't believe he is so big already!

And oh my goodness - it's December? How did that happen? Is it just me, or has this year flown by? Crazy.
Maybe its our schedule that keeps the year flying for me:
Monday - Work, and then Bible Study Fellowship in the evenings. Get home at 9pm
Tuesday - Work, and then date night with Hubby! <3
Wednesday - Work, then church. Get home 9pm
Thursday - Work, then worship band practice at church. Get home 8:30pm
Friday - Work, then Financial Peace University. Get home 9:30pm
Saturday - House cleaning, grocery shopping.
Sunday - Church, MIL's house to hang with family for dinner.

As you can see, it's a busy life! Thankfully FPU is ending this month. That will free up our Friday nights. And I do get some time after work each before the evening activities begin. Usually just long enough to make a fast dinner, do some internet time, and play with Monster. Yes, it is a busy life, but I do love it! Never time to be bored. :)

Anyway, just thought I'd give a little update about my life lately. I hope all who read are doing well! And I will be back shortly to post some PICTURES!

Pumpkin Patch!!

On Halloween, we got to take Lochlan to a local pumpkin patch. At first he wasn't so sure about all the weird orange things, but he had a good time after a little while. Enough words... time for pictures! Thanks to Alethea for taking all the awesome shots! Mommy forgot her camera at home....oops!

Monster's Necklace: Baltic Amber from Inspired By Finn.

Many people have been asking me about Monster's necklace lately. You may have seen it in his 7 month photos.... here's another picture of it.

It is made from Baltic Amber, which is a natural pain reliever and anti-inflammitory, amoung other things. I bought it from Inspired By Finn. I won't go into details here about all of the medical properties of Baltic Amber - you can read all of that on Inspired By Finn's website, here. I bought it to help with teething pain.

Monster has been teething for quite a while, and for about 2 weeks prior to buying the necklace, he had been waking up at least once a night SCREAMING in pain. He did not want to nurse, he was just in pain from his gums. We had the Hyland's tablets, and we had Orajel. Sometimes it would take both of those products to help him fall back to sleep. We'd also have to give those products throughout the day when he got really fussy and we could tell he was in pain. BUT, ever since getting the necklace - no joke - he has not woken up in the middle of the night from pain even once. He still wakes occasionally to nurse, but not from pain. We also have not had to give any teeting tablets or orajel since he's been wearing the necklace.

I was skeptical at first, but bought one just to give it a try, thinking it couldn't hurt. But now I totally believe, and know that it really does work! I am reccomending these to everyone who has a teething baby. They do make a world of difference! They naturally come in a variety of colors - from light yellow to dark brown. And there are styles that look good on both girls and boys. They also are helpful for adults and older children, for any type of pain. Knee pain, back pain, etc. You can see all of the options on their website.

Inspired By Finn has no idea who I am. I did not write this for a giveaway or any sort of compensation. I just had a lot of people asking me about Monster's necklace lately, and many people had never heard of Baltic Amber or it's benefits, or where to find the necklaces. And I truly love the product so I thought I'd share the info with you. That is all.
